Ceiling light fixtures

Ceiling Light Fixtures:
Ceiling fixtures are probably the most common of all fixtures and where ease of installation is needed, ceiling lights do a wonderful job at giving the light needed for your everyday task. The ceiling fixture provides ambient light (general lighting), not only by directing light down, but also by directing light along the ceiling thereby brightening the appearance of a space. Ceiling light is a very important part of any room.

Fixtures come in many different styles, colors, sizes, and shapes. Ceiling lights are used in the kitchen, bathroom, living room, dining room, family room, bedrooms, closets, and also outdoors. In addition, they are practical in busy areas such as hallways, foyer, laundry room, playrooms, and dens/

Ceiling Fixtures are either mounted flush (close to the ceiling) or semi-flush and are
available with incandescent, fluorescent and energy efficient compact fluorescent bulbs (CFL's), and halogen lights.

Flush mount are preferred on lower ceilings and generally light up only the room. While semi-flush lights are ideal on medium to high ceilings and light up your ceiling as well as your room. These fixtures are also great in hallways as a substitute for recessed lighting. In hallways, light fixtures should be used every 8 to 10 feet to ensure adequate even illumination

Your ceiling height, area and physical dimensions of your room will determine the right ceiling lighting. Semi-flush ceiling lighting provides you with unique style and design for low ceiling applications.
